See What’s Possible Before Construction Begins.
This is where your ideas begin to take shape. Your Gridley designer works with you to develop design concepts that reflect how you want your home to look, feel, and function.
Using 3D renderings, we’ll present two to three design concepts that you can virtually walk through. Together, we’ll explore the options, consider what works best for your home and refine the design based on your feedback and investment priorities.
Our design and build teams collaborate from the beginning, bringing creative thinking and construction experience into the conversation early. The goal is a design that’s uniquely yours and grounded in what can realistically be built.
- Explore multiple design concepts through 3D renderings.
- Work with your designer to refine the layout and details.
- Evaluate design choices alongside your investment goals.

Plans & Permits
Get the Details in Place Before Construction.
With the design and selections taking shape, we move into the planning needed to bring your project to life.
Gridley develops the construction plans, coordinates necessary engineering and addresses applicable building code and Title 24 requirements. Our team also manages the permitting process, so you aren’t left trying to navigate city requirements on your own.
We bring the design, technical details, and construction considerations together to establish a clear foundation for the work ahead. This is also where we work through the remaining project details and pricing checkpoints before construction begins.
The goal: A well-developed plan, a clear understanding of the investment, and a team ready to move into construction.

Materials Management
Get Ready for a More Organized Build.
A remodeling project involves more than the work happening at your house. Materials, product selections, deliveries, and schedules all need to come together at the right time.
Gridley’s team coordinates material ordering and uses our warehouse staging process to help keep your project organized before construction begins. By planning ahead and coordinating materials with the construction schedule, we work to reduce unnecessary delays and keep the project moving. Our approach helps take the guesswork out of managing all the details yourself.
6
Build Team
One Team Taking Care of Your Home.
Now it’s time to bring your plans to life!
Your Gridley Project Manager and construction team coordinate the work, oversee the details and keep you informed about your project’s progress. We understand that construction takes place in your home, not just on a job site. Our team works to maintain an organized work area, communicate clearly and minimize disruption to your daily routine wherever possible.
Whether you’re living in your home during the remodel or making other arrangements, we recognize that the experience matters just as much as the finished space. Throughout construction, your Project Manager is there to answer questions, communicate what’s happening and help you understand what comes next.
- A dedicated Project Manager overseeing your project.
- Coordinated construction teams and scheduling.
- Ongoing communication about progress and project details.
- Care and respect for your home throughout construction.
And when the work is complete, Gridley stands behind its work with warranty support.

More Than a Process. A Commitment to You.
The six phases explain how your remodel moves forward. But what makes the Gridley experience different is how we work with you throughout those phases.
The Gridley Price Promise
Know Where Your Investment Stands Before Construction Begins.
We understand that one of the biggest concerns homeowners have about remodeling is cost. You want to create the home you’ve been imagining without feeling uncertain about what you’re committing to.
That’s why Gridley builds pricing checkpoints into the design process.
Our designers work with you to develop a project that aligns with your investment parameters. As the design evolves and selections are made, we’ll review pricing together so you can understand how your decisions affect the overall project. If a particular material or design choice falls outside your investment goals, we’ll help you explore alternatives that may achieve a similar look or function. By working through the major design and product decisions before construction begins, our goal is to establish a clear, agreed-upon project price and reduce the uncertainty that can come with remodeling.
It’s about making informed decisions, understanding your investment, and moving into construction with greater confidence.
One Team. One Point of Responsibility.
With Gridley’s design-build approach, you don’t have to hire a designer, find a contractor, and coordinate a collection of separate companies.
Our design and construction teams work together throughout the project, bringing the decisions made during planning into the actual building process. Your designer and Project Manager each play an important role, and they work together to keep communication and project details connected. That means you have a team that understands your project, knows the decisions behind it and takes responsibility for moving it forward.
A Remodeling Experience That Respects Your Home and Your Life.
We know you have a life outside of your remodel. You shouldn’t have to spend every day tracking down answers, coordinating trades or wondering what’s happening next.
Our team prioritizes clear communication, organized scheduling, and treating your home with care. We work to make the experience as pleasant and livable as possible, recognizing that every household and project comes with its own needs.
And when the work is finished, we want you to feel good about more than the finished space. We want you to feel confident in the decisions you made, comfortable with the team you chose, and happy to come home for many years to come.
